Bakergroup Shines in Music City!

During the 2017 NACUFS Conference in Nashville, Bakergroup’s President Jim Sukenik, Vice President Mona Milius, and Operations Principals Carol Petersen and Nona Golledge enjoyed connecting with current and potential clients at the Showcase, during our presentation, and at our Friday night annual dinner. Thank you, to our valued clients, for your business and collaborative partnerships.

Bakergroup’s interest session, “Brand Together: The Expanding Role of Campus Dining in Student Success,” was presented by Paul Houle, director of the University of Colorado Boulder’s Campus Dining Services, and Principals Carol Petersen and Nona Golledge. Paul, Carol and Nona shared how dining departments contribute to and support students’ learning outside the classroom. Paul reviewed the program of their newest leading-edge project, William’s Village Dining Center and Community Commons, and how this facility was designed to encourage and enhance social interactions and student learning. Carol and Nona reviewed data from surveys that support the need for collaborative and social spaces outside the classroom and how dining facilities can be designed to contribute to student success.

See below to take a peek into our four days of listening, learning, and having fun. And, you don’t want to miss the video of Greg Minner, dining director, at Purdue University sing along with singer and songwriter, Dave Pahanish. A great week with great friends!
