Nona is an award-winning, well respected and progressive leader in the foodservice industry. Her 30 years of hospitality experience, primarily in the collegiate environment, gives her a wide range of perspectives when creating programs and designs. During her tenure as the Director of Dining Services at the University of Kansas (KU), Nona successfully merged the retail and residential dining programs resulting in a more efficient and customer-centered program. In addition, Nona led the KU dining team in the development of three nationally recognized programs – local sourcing, special meal accommodations, and sustainability. As director, Nona planned over $70M of project renovations on campus.
Nona’s leadership experience at KU and in the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) has prepared her well for Principal with Bakergroup. In this role, Nona brings foodservice expertise, creativity, and critical thinking skills to the table.
